Dr. Seim is a physical oceanographer who studies the distribution of ocean properties and ocean circulation in the Galapagos. He has supported annual research cruises, which have been done in collaboration with the Galapagos National Park and USFQ. These cruises have documented oceanographic conditions and microbial distributions across the archipelago.
