MS Candidate, Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, UNC-CH
Tessa was raised in Atlanta, GA and attended UNC-Chapel Hill for an undergraduate degree in Chemistry. She has returned to UNC to finish up her MS in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering. Tessa’s current project involves chemically characterizing air samples collected from San Cristobal Island in the Galapagos Islands. With this project, she is hoping to uncover what processes exist that produce aerosols in a pristine environment. In her free time, Tessa enjoys traveling, playing with her dogs, and cross-stitching.
