Data Analysis Intern
Peter (Gus) Winiker graduated in the UNC class of 2022 with a BS in Environmental Science and a minor in Geography. Gus worked alongside faculty at the UNC Center for Galapagos Studies as a geospatial data analysis intern, and he worked to curate an online data repository for the Galápagos Islands via Dataverse. The end goal of this project was to create a data repository of island systems around the globe that would be easily accessible and useful for scientists and data analysts of any institution.
