I have been doing research in Galapagos since 2010 in the areas of plant ecology, invasion biology, vegetation mapping, spatially explicit conservation and plant phylogenetics. To answer the research questions, I use a combination of herbarium records, molecular tools, technological platforms (drones), Geographic Information Systems, and spatially explicit modeling, to obtain higher-impact and efficient results.
