The Deputy Director of the Center for Galapagos Studies, Jill Stewart, has been named the Philip C. Singer Distinguished Professor of Environmental Sciences and Engineering in the UNC School of Global Public Health. Dr. Stewart has been an instrumental leader in the formation and development of the UNC Galapagos initiative.
